I am a Research Psychologist at the U.S. Army's Center for Army Leadership, where I develop and validate leadership assessments, design empirical research, and translate findings into practical tools for military organizations.

My work sits at the intersection of industrial-organizational psychology, psychometrics, and organizational behavior. I am particularly interested in how leaders develop over time, how assessment can accelerate that development, and how measurement can be made more rigorous and accessible.

My current research examines the role of mindfulness in organizational training effectiveness, basic psychological need satisfaction across life domains, and the psychometric properties of leadership assessment instruments used across the Army. I hold certifications from Hogan Assessments and the Human Research CITI Program, and I have presented and published widely in military and applied psychology settings.

Beyond my work at CAL, I am the founder of Evergreen Assessments LLC, where I develop science-driven assessment tools for small businesses. I am also working toward founding The Hanson Institute, a research organization dedicated to funding psychology research that benefits humanity broadly.
